He will focus on strategic partnerships and developing the core business operations of the ILS Group, offshore companies and trusts. He will be based in our Dubai office.
James has joined ILS from London where he worked in the Lloyd's insurance market and was training to become an underwriter. After studying economics at university James had a short career in yachting. Having worked on various super yachts his highlight was crewing on the iconic, Maltese Falcon.
ILS World has provided independent fiduciary services to professional advisors, international corporate groups and private clients for more than 25 years. It has more than 75 people working at offices in British Virgin Islands, Dubai, Hong Kong, Shanghai, London, Portugal and Switzerland with staff speaking in 16 languages.
Regional manager, Jason Bowers said: "James will be based in our Dubai office which opened in 2005. The team provides a comprehensive range of services to foreign investors and residents seeking to do business with the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. The office has a distinguished portfolio of private clients offering them on-going wealth management and asset protection services."
James said: "I am looking forward to joining Jason and being a part of a progressive team in the Middle East. We've got a growth plan in place and I've been given the tools to access the broader market here, leaning on my degree in Economics where necessary."
