Held at Brasserie Blanc in Chancery Lane the silver anniversary was enjoyed by an invited guest list of accountants, lawyers, clients, intermediaries, tax advisers and bankers who sat down and enjoyed a delicious breakfast and tasted this year's wine, produced only weeks after the grapes were harvested.
This year the guest speaker was Mei Sim Lai, who has lived in the UK since 1970, and the founder and principal of LaiPeters & Co, City-based chartered accountants. Since the 1990s Mei Sim has held a number of Board appointments in the private, public, City, charity and voluntary sectors and is a Deputy Lord Lieutenant of Greater London. She was appointed OBE for services to Equal Opportunities in 2004 and in 2012 won the Asian Women of Achievement of Awards for Public Service.
Group Business Development Director, Richard MacNee said: "ILS World is delighted to have been hosting the Beaujolais Noveau breakfast meeting for 25 consecutive years. Celebrating the release of the new vintage is an enjoyable reason for arranging to get together with friends and colleagues. We are always keen to host events designed to help guests make meaningful contacts and create business development opportunities in a relaxed and social setting."
