Geneva is the primary ILS World centre of expertise for the provision of services to private clients. An experienced team of lawyers and trust professionals provide advice on all aspects of estate and succession planning, asset protection structuring, trusts and foundations, private trust companies and family office services. We design, implement and manage appropriate structures, often in conjunction with advice from other professional advisers.

Switzerland provides a robust but practical regulatory environment for such activities. Crucially, although Switzerland has no trust law itself, it is a signatory to the Hague convention on the recognition of trusts. The legal recognition of trusts and the non-taxation of trust assets is therefore fully recognised under Swiss law. Unlike trust companies established in many jurisdictions, the Swiss trustee will typically choose from a range of trust laws, foundations and other structures. These are tailored to meet an individual client's needs and are not restricted to a particular jurisdiction.

Independence is a core value of ILS World. Our focus remains on pure fiduciary activities. This places us in a unique position to provide wholly unbiased advice to our clients and, together with our strong local knowledge of the banking and investment industry, enables us to deliver a client service which is second to none.

ILS Fiduciaries (Switzerland) Sarl is supervised for AML by ARIF.
