STEP is the global professional association for practitioners who specialise in family inheritance and succession planning. Full STEP members, known as TEPs, are internationally recognised as experts in their field, with proven qualifications and experience.
Managing director of ILS World's Shanghai office Cindy is one of only seven TEP's in China's biggest city.
"It is a great feeling to finally receive this qualification after a year of hard word," said Cindy. "This has increased my trust knowledge and will greatly benefit my portfolio of clients."
Cindy has achieved the qualification after successfully passing a series of exams to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and practical experience in the areas of trust and estate planning. She has been with ILS World for more than six years and joined the company after completing her LLB and LLM qualifications in the UK.
ILS World has provided independent fiduciary services to professional advisers, international corporate groups and private clients for more than 25 years. It has more than 50 people working at offices in the Isle of Man, British Virgin Islands, Dubai, Hong Kong, London and Portugal with staff speaking in 14 languages.
Chief executive Chris Eaton said: "This is a fantastic achievement by Cindy and something she thoroughly deserves. We have a number of staff working towards various industry standard qualifications. We see them as a key component to our staff's development which will assist them within their career path and provide our clients with qualified administrators to run and manage their affairs."
