Business development role for Cindy

ILS World, a global provider of independent fiduciary services to professional advisers, international corporate groups and private clients, has appointed Cindy Cheng as business development director based in our Hong Kong office.

Cindy is a qualified member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners holding the Diploma in International Trust Management and has more than 8 years' experience in the trust and corporate service provider sector.

She joined ILS World after completing her LLB and LLM qualifications in the UK. She is fluent in Mandarin, Shanghainese, Cantonese, English and also speaks some Spanish.

Her focus will be on fostering business opportunities in Asia for a varied client portfolio and providing cross-border solutions to professional intermediaries as well as private and corporate clients.

As well as Hong Kong Cindy has worked in the Isle of Man, the UK and Shanghai liaising with banks, law firms, entrepreneurs and high-net worth individuals advising on investment and trading structures, providing outsourced corporate services, wealth protection, succession planning and immigration. She also advises on legal issues in offshore and onshore regions and providing explanatory support to Chinese clients when the legal issues are handled by offshore lawyers.

ILS World has more than 50 people working at offices in British Virgin Islands, Dubai, Hong Kong, London and Portugal with staff speaking in 14 languages.
